I had never read so many ecstatic skincare reviews until I discovered Borden Acres’ site. Then I bought some of their facial products and body lotion and immediately, I knew why.
Borden Acres is a skincare line from a family in Pauma Valley, California that hand-makes small batches of affordable high-quality goat’s milk products from their Nigerian Dwarf goats, mixed with natural oils, butters, and 100% pure essential oils or fragrances.
I first started using goat’s milk soaps years ago after my son was born. Nobody, not even allergy doctors could figure out why he was constantly itching and developing rashes. I knew that it was due in part to topical ingredients - laundry detergent, bath products, soaps, possibly glycerin, so I switched him to the smooth, chemical-free goat's milk soaps and the itching and rashes stopped.
This time, I wanted to try real goat’s milk skincare products on myself, but not just any. I needed the real thing from a small farm or goat owners who carefully crafted real goat’s milk with top key natural ingredients (like calendula, honey, aloe vera, shea butter, and other butters, vitamin c, and other top oils). Calendula+Honey Balm
Borden Acres' Calendula+Honey Balm is a heavier, thicker-textured balm, but whipped, ever so silky. The Calendula “is infused with Witch Hazel, Goat's Milk, Aloe, Fresh Local Honey, Jojoba, Shea, Coconut, and pure essential oils.” I’ve been into purchasing organic calendula products lately because they’re used on people with ultra sensitive skin and are known to be extremely healing.

Borden Acres' Goat's Milk Body lotion is by far the silkiest but NON-GREASY lotion that I’ve ever used. I purchased the scent, “Island Coconut,” which I’m in love with and reminds me of summer, but they also offer 10 other citrusy and sweet scents and an Aloe + Oat non-scented lotion as well.
